Our 2022 Net-Walking Workshops
Come along to network, learn and gain the benefits of light to moderate aerobic exercise, in nature! All our events take place on FRIDAYS from 9.45am at different walking locations in Kent.
Connect with our community of Wonder Women through one of our three 'Circuits of Learning' where you will gain clarity of thought, connect with new people and increase your energy! Each Circuit of Learning focuses on building our three superpowers: flexibility, connection and resilience.
Within a Circuit of Learning we run 5 'Net-Walking Workshops' and a 'Workout and Wellness challenge'. The 5 Net-Walking Workshops are sold as a bundle, and the Workout and Wellness challenge can be purchased as a single event.
The Net-Walks contain a brisk 3-mile walk and during our walk we stop and deliver a "pocket-size" learning workout designed to support you to add tools, tips and knowledge to your "Kit-Bag" helping you grow professionally and personally.
Our next Circuit of Learning starts
September 2022
During this Circuit we are delighted to be taking part in The Kent Pilgrims' Festival and offering a 3-mile 'Net-Walk Workshop' on Friday 23rd September starting from Charing - one of the famous stop-off points for ancient travellers, travelling along the Pilgrims' Way.
We are offering the option for this particular Net-Walking Workshop to be purchased as a singular ticket for £12, to join the journey with Fit For Business please buy your ticket here.
To join all 5 Net-Walking Workshops, which includes a complimentary pocket-sized notebook to carry with you, for all your Fit For Business pocket-sized learning, your investment is £45 Per Circuit (and this includes The Kent Pilgrims' Festival Net-Walk).
The Structure of our Net-Walk Workshops
We meet in the Car Park at 9.45am for a prompt 10am start. Please come dressed for variable weather conditions, including heavy rain (we will only cancel in extreme, dangerous conditions), muddy fields, uneven paths and bring plenty of water. We strongly recommend wearing walking boots to protect your feet and ankles.
-
10.00am - 10.15am ‘Warm-Up’ We start with a gentle pace that will include a facilitated connection activity to foster networking and building deeper connections with others.
-
10.15am - Noon ‘Workout’ The pace increases to an energising walk that raises your heart rates, oxygenates the brain and gives you the opportunity to record an episode with us, for our 'Wonder Woman Walks Podcast'. During the 'Workout' we will stop and deliver a ‘pocket-sized’ learning session, with time to reflect and capture thoughts, intentions and follow up plans.
-
Noon - 12.15pm ‘Cool Down' After the walk, we will rest and reflect on the Net-Walk insights. This may be inside within a cafe/pub but most often, outside!
Other information:
-
At some of the venues, there is the option to purchase your own drink at the end, but please, always bring your own water.
-
Toilets are only available at locations with a cafe / pub.
-
Everyone walks at their own risk and must not take part if they have any serious, underlying health conditions.
-
You will be invited to join a Circuit of Learning 'WhatsApp Group' where we can answer questions; build connections, and keep you updated with important information.
